MOTDstat is like the dashboard in your car. While starting the engine the dashboard is displaying the “health” of all systems. The same does MOTDstat after logging to the console. The overview of system utilisation and performance will be displayed and refreshed in 5 minutes interval. When something goes wrong the system will notify you immediately. Does not require any system dependencies nor SNMP.

Are there any installation dependencies?
No, MOTDstat uses the most common unix and linux programs for running
MOTD not shown when logging from ssh
You'll need to enable printing the motd in your configuration of sshd server. Update your sshd_config
